Lost in Space first arrived on Netflix in 2018 with a 10 episode first season. Within a month Lost in Space was renewed for a second season. The second season arrived 18 months after the first episode of season one, on December 24, 2019! Almost a year later, on December 1st, 2021, the third and final season was released on Netflix.

Of course Lost in Space is a reboot from the original series which ran from from 1965 till 1968. I have to admit I've never seen the original and to be honest I don't have any urge to do so. When the reboot was announced I was kind of excited, it meant a new show in space, or at least in part. The first season was okay, I liked it, but it is not in the same league as seasons 2 and 3. In that first season I really hated the woman presuming to be Dr. Smith (Parker Posey). I absolutely loathed her, I almost stopped watching the show in its first season because of my hatred for this character. Luckily in the following seasons this went gradually better and was she tollerable and sometimes even okay!

I suggest if you got stuck with only watching the first season, I advise you to watched the final seasons because it turned out very solid and entertaining!
