The Mandalorian first arrived last year, 2019, on Disney+. It became in instant hit with the Star Wars fans. Most of them embrace this new Star Wars story because most of them are not happy with the last triology. A season 3 already has been announced, it will be on Disney+ in December 2021.

To be honest I am fairly new to Star Wars. Of course I did see the first 3 movies (movies 4,5 & 6) way back when I was young. but soon after Star Trek was something I liked more. Perhaps because it was a TV show instead of movies, I cannot remember. In the years after that I always said Star Wars wasn't my thing. However when in 1999 Star Wars: The Phantom Menace was in the cinema, I wanted to see it. Boy was I in for a surprise....I slept through most of the movie, did not really like it much. As it turned out, I was not the only one. When in 2014 the new trilogie was announced, I wanted to give it another chance. But now I first bought the 6 movies on Blu-ray. Of The 3 newer movies (1999-2002), I only liked the last one. But I loved the first 3 movies. 

So I watched The Force Awakens and I thought it was good, I found the other two entertaining but nog as good as Force. But one thing is for sure, the 3 original movies are the best, The Force Awakens I also like and I love Rogue One. I even like the Solo movie. But in order for me to see the big picture, I will have to watch it all several times more!

So when The Mandalorian arrived I had to see it and till now, I am getting more and more excited, after the season 2 finale I can't wait for season 3 but I probably first will rewatch seasons 1 and 2 in 2021!
