Moonhaven first was released on AMC+ on July 7^th, 2022 and the final episode aired on August 4^th, 2022. I have to say when I first watched this, I really thought it was a bit strange to say the least. It was your average SCI-FI TV show. However the 2^nd episode already pulled me in a bit more and from then on I thought it was really entertaining. Still a bit strange, but entertaining. AMC+ renewed it for season two, however, unfortunately, a few weeks later, AMC+ reversed the renewal and cancelled it, so no season two, all we have are 6 episodes.

So that was bummer, reversing its renewal, did not see that coming. What I also did not see coming was a Blu-ray release of the complete series of Moonhaven! By cheer accident I noticed that Moonhaven was released earlier this year in July 2023.

Premise:

Moonhaven focuses on Bella Sway, a lunar cargo pilot and smuggler 100 years in the future who finds herself accused of a crime and marooned on Moonhaven, a utopian community set on a 500 square mile Garden of Eden built on the Moon to find solutions to the problems that will soon end civilization on Mother Earth. A skeptic in Paradise, Bella is sucked into a conspiracy to gain control of the artificial intelligence responsible for Moonhaven's miracles and teams with a local detective to stop the forces that want to destroy Earth's last hope before they are destroyed themselves.
