Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is an American monster/SCI-FI television series created by Chris Black and Matt Fraction and produced by Legendary Television. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters premiered on AppleTV on November 17th, 2023. In April 2024 the show was renewed for a second season, which will premier on February 27, 2026. 

Because of the very positive reviews we got a second season, but besides that, there are also spin-offs in the pipeline, so it is highly possible we get to see more of this universe. The downside most likely will be, hope I am wrong, but it will take long between seasons as we accustomed to with streaming services. Between the first and second season, there is a gap of 2+ years.

Premise:

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters follows two siblings uncovering their father's secret ties to the Monarch organization, the monster-hunting agency from the MonsterVerse films, bridging events between movies by exploring Monarch's origins in the 1950s and its continued legacy in the present day, featuring characters like Army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt & Wyatt Russell) amidst giant monsters (Titans).

Also on Rotten Tomatoes, Monarch is appreciated by critics (87%) and audiences (77%).
