Humans is a sci-fi TV series that debuted on Channel 4 in the UK. It is written by Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley, based on the Swedish sci-fi series Real Humans. the series explores the themes of artificial intelligence and robotics, focusing on the social, cultural, and psychological impact of the invention of anthropomorphic robots called "synths". This series is an collaboration of Channel 4 & Kudos in the United Kingdom and AMC in the United States.

Each season constists of 8 episodes, three seasons have been created, it aired from June 14^th 2015 till July 5^th 2018. Because of the steady decline ratings of Humans, Channel 4 announced that the show was cancelled. All 3 seasons got critical acclaim, on Rotten Tomatoes, overall 94%, the audience a little bit lower bit still a respectable 85%. If you check out the individual seasons you’ll see impressive numbers. Shame it got cancelled, it has a strong cast, they also hired a few well known actors from the United states: William Hurt & Carrie-Anne Moss.

Funny thing is that Humans is based on the Swedish Real Humans, the currently also is a Chinese version based on Humans. The series began airing on the Chinese network Tencent from 19 February 2021 onwards!

The complete series has also been released on physical media, DVD as well as on Blu-ray. In the United states and Germany there was a Blu-ray release, I believe in the UK only a DVD release. I can only recommend this TV show/series, even though it is not a complete story because it got cancelled.  (with some help of Wikipedia)
