Devs is an American SCI-FI thriller miniseries, or limited series, which has been written and directed by Alex Garland. It premiered on March 5th, 2020, on FX on Hulu, the final episode was released on April 16th, 2020. So, what you know for sure, because it was intended as a miniseries, or limited series, it does get a resolution, which is good to know. I can confirm this because I recently watched this.

Premise:

Lily Chan is a software engineer for Amaya, a quantum computing company run by Forest. Lily soon becomes embroiled in the mysterious death of her boyfriend, who died on the first day of his new job at the Devs team at Amaya.

Devs is all about determinism, but also free will. The people at Devs have become convinced that there is no such thing as free will. Lily Chan shows them that you can choose, that you have free will. Devs generally received positive reviews by paid reviewers as well as the viewer. On Rotten Tomatoes it shows 82% (critics) and 77% (audience).

Pure by accident I discovered this show, those are the nice ones, discovered by accident and turning out to be gems. That is how I see Devs, really enjoyed it, unfortunately, no physical release at this time.

The music of the show was also terrific, I loved it so much that I recently purchased the soundtrack on CD, it is a 2-disc set. On You Tube you can listen to it for free.
