War of the Worlds first aired on October 2019, produced by Fox Networks Group and StudioCanal-backed Urban Myth Films and the original networks who broadcast it are Canal+ and Fox in the UK. It also is available through Disney+ where I am watching it on. It serves as a re-imagining of the classic H. G. Wells novel. Currently there are two seasons of 8 episodes, and it has been renewed for a third season, this was announced in July 2021. The third season is about to be launched, according to IMDb, they updated this recently, the third season will start Sepetember 5, 2022.

When it was just released in 2019 I looked for it, to see if I could watch it somewhere, too late I found out it aired in FOX so I decided to skip it all together and hoped it would be available on a platfrom as Netflix, Disney+ or Amazon. And indeed, a few weeks ago I discovered both seasons on Disney+. It is now August 27th and I only have seen 4 episodes but I have to say, it really grabs me, find it entertaining, consuming, they idea you survive an attack like that, gives you a sense of desperation. I think the death are better off in such a scenario. So I am looking forward to finish the first and second season and hopefully the third season will be available on Disney+ soon!
