Tru Calling premiered on Fox on October 30th 2003. However the final episode has been aired earlier in other countries all over the world. In the US the final episode aired for the first time on January 21 2008 on the Sci-fi channel.

Of course I know many of you don't think this show belongs here on this website because it not SCI-FI. Of course I understand this but on the other hand, it has some SCI-FI elements which you cannot deny. It does have some sort of time travel with Tru going back in time every episode.

Also, what we didn't see in the show, because it was cancelled after only 2 seasons, one 20 episides season and one 6 episodes season. But when you check out the wikipedia page of this show you can read what the future plans were for the next 1 or 2 seasons. Under "Proposed storylines" you can read how there some plans to explore parallel dimensions. (update 09/2022, about the proposed storylines, I checked this, has been removed by someone, see history of Wiki)

Okay, this isn't labelled as SCI-FI, but still I feel the need to add it here on the page because of the above mentioned. It's good show though, the first few episodes it seemed like Tru was only running all the time but that changed over the course of the first part of the season. Stories became better, especially with the introduction of Jack, he has the same gift as Tru but does not agree with what she does with her gift, helping people. Jack feels like that she shouldn't interfere. Season 2 were only 6 epsiodes but they were really good. A shame this ended so soon!

Plot (IMDb): Tru Davies, a medical grad student in Boston whose grant is suddenly pulled out from under her, takes a job at a local morgue.
