The Incredible Hulk, is an America TV show based on the Marvel Comics character the Hulk. It aired on the CBS and it starred Bill Bixby as David Banner and Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk and Jack Colvin as Jack McGee! The Incredible Hulk was developed by Kenneth Johnson, whom you also might know from the mini series V, the TV series Alien Nation and many other things. The first episode aired on November 4th, 1977 and final episode aired on May 12, 1982. After the series ended there were 3 tv movies made, these aired in 1988, 1989 and 1990.
When I was a young boy I watched every episode of The Hulk, I really loved it, was one of my favorite shows. While saying this I must also say that I've never rewatched the Hulk, not one episode! In the Netherlands, when a show originally aired, especially in the 70's and 80's, there were no reruns, we had only had two TV channels, that was it. From the late 90's on, I could have purchased it on DVD, I never did, by that time I was into Star Trek, Babylon 5, Stargate and such. But ever since I watched the first series of Blake's 7 on Blu-ray at the beginning of 2025, I have the urge for 1970's shows, so I figured, why not purchase The Hulk on Blu-ray.
Premise (IMdB):

While also being hunted by a Reporter named Jack McGee. Banner meets new people along the way, bonds with them as Banner and protects them when needed as The Hulk but untimely has to keep moving until he can be sure able to "control the raging spirit that dwells within."
