Teacup is an American Horror / Sci-Fi TV series created by Ian McCullIan McCulloch, inspired by Stinger by Robert R. McCammon. It stars Yvonne Strahovski and Scott Speedman. It premiered on Peacock on October 10, 2024. It contained eight 30 minutes episodes. On January 17, 2025, Peacock announced the series was cancelled after its one and only season.

Premise:

The story is set over a period of two days on a remote ranch in rural Georgia. A diverse group of residents and neighbours are forced to come together to survive an unknown, deadly threat that has trapped them within an invisible boundary around their property.

It was a strange but intriguing series which blended Horror with Sci-fi, Thriller and drama. It is revealed that it involves alien entities, a Harbinger alien, which shared a body and mind oif one of the children. There was also an Assassin alien which is hunting the alien entity which hides in the child.

I really enjoyed it and was looking forward to season two which unfortunately will never come. Really liked Yvonne Strahovski in this, very different from her role on Chuck. On Rotten Tomatoes it gets good reviews from critics (77%) as well as the audience (76%). Unfortunately, it did not yet got a physical release and it most likely never will.
