Star City is an American science fiction drama television series created by Ben Nedivi, Matt Wolpert, and Ronald D. Moore for Apple TV. It is a spin-off from For All Mankind with a focus on the Soviet Union. The name comes from the home of the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, Star City.

The series premiered on May 29, 2026 and the final season one episode streamed on July 10, 2026. The first season contains of 8 one hour long episodes.

Premise:

Set in the alternate-history universe of For All Mankind, Star City moves the story behind the Iron Curtain and follows the Soviet space program at the moment when the USSR has beaten the United States to the Moon. Rather than focusing primarily on the American side of the space race, the series explores the lives of Soviet cosmonauts, engineers, scientists and intelligence officers who are under enormous pressure to keep their country's technological advantage.

As said, it is a spin-off from For All Mankind, following the same time-line per season starting in the 1960, slowly moving forward to our present time. If I am not mistaken, their are plans for more spin-offs other than this one, but time will tell.
