Silo, an AppleTV+ show, first aired on May 5th, 2023. The second season is starting in November 2024, so give and take 17 months in between seasons! Most likely because of the strike last year that Silo's release was pushed back also. One season contains 10 episodes, which is a perfect number for a season story-arc but on the other hand, I wouldn't mind 13 or 15 episodes a season.

Premise: In a bleak dystopian future, humanity clings to survival deep underground within the confines of a colossal silo. Juliette, an engineer tasked with unraveling the mystery behind the death of a colleague, uncovers startling secrets that threaten the very fabric of their enclosed world. Based on the novel "Wool" by Hugh Howey.

This is a show which immediately interests me, the thought that this is your life now, living in such a silo. Makes me wonder, so many TV shows and movies about an apocalyptic future, are we being prepared for something like that perhaps? It is a one big story-arc, so no filler episodes which I always find important.

Rebecca Ferguson's Juliette Nichols is the main character of the show. Most of you probably know her from the Mission Impossible movies.
