Nowhere Man is an American mystery SCI-FI thriller television series that aired on UPN on Monday nights from August 28, 1995, to May 20, 1996, it stars Bruce Greenwood. The series was created by Lawrence Hertzog. Despite critical acclaim, including TV Guide's label of "This season's coolest hit", the show was cancelled after only one season.
The first and only season consists of 25 episodes and it is in fact one big arc from beginning to the end. Back in the 90's this kind of storytelling became more and more accepted, other shows like Babylon 5, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and for instance Space: Above and beyond were also dabbling with this kind of storytelling which, as a viewer, became more and more difficult to miss an episode.
Premise:
Nowhere Man follows documentary photojournalist Thomas Veil (played by Bruce Greenwood), whose entire existence is mysteriously erased overnight. In the course of a single evening, Veil's credit cards become invalid, his house locks are changed, his best friend turns up dead, and even his wife claims not to know him. All this because of an Incriminating Photo.
I never purchased it on DVD, which I regret and now, because it is out of print, it is almost impossible to get it for a normal price. Fortunately, the complete series is accessible for free on You Tube! That is where I am going to watch it!
