Man from Atlantis, the TV series, first debuted on September 22, 1977. The Final episode aired on June 6, 1978. Before the TV series, four Man From Atlantis telemovies aired on NBC. The first one on March 4, 1977 and the last one on June 20th, 1977, three months before the TV series began.

Man From Atlantis was created by Mayo Simon and Herbert F. Solow. Patrick Duffy, Belinda Montgomery, Alan Fudge starred in the short lived TV series. Victor Buono as Mr. Schubert was the villain of the series, he became a stereotypical villain interested only in achieving wealth and power.

I've watched this when I was a little kid for the first and last time, I don't remember if I have watched all movies and episodes, but I seriously doubt that. When I think of my favorite shows of the 70's, Man From Atlantis is not a show I think about immediately, but I did enjoy it back in the day and the price was right for the German DVD release of the complete series.

Last year I did "My Favorite Shows" of the 90's 00's and 10's. I want to do this also for the 1970's and 1980's. I think I will get around the 1970's in 2026 and Man From Atlantis certainly has a shot to wind up in my 1970's Top 10.  I have to admit though, I don't remember much so in all fairness it will be a first watch instead of a rewatch, although I know I did see a portion of it at least back in the day.
