Invasion is an American SCI-FI television series created by Simon Kinberg and David Weil that premiered on Apple TV+ on October 22, 2021. It has had a mixed critical response, yet, Invasion (2021) has been renewed for a second and a third season. At the moment a fourth season has not officially been announced yet, although it is expected it will get a season 4. Till now, 30 episodes over three seasons have been released on Apple+.

Premise:

Earth is visited by an alien species that threatens humanity's existence. Events unfold in real time through the eyes of a handful of ordinary people across the globe as they struggle to make sense of the increasing chaos around them.

It stars: Golshifteh Farahani; Shamier Anderson; Shioli Kutsuna; Firas Nassar; Billy Barratt; Azhy Robertson; Tara Moayedi; Daisuke Tsuji; Sam Neill; India Brown; Paddy Holland; Enver Gjokaj;Nedra Marie Taylor; Naian González Norvind; Shane Zaza; Erika Alexander.

As said, it is not for everybody, on Rotten Tomatoes the audience stays behind (47%) on what the critics (59%) think of it, still, both are on the low side for such an expensive Apple+ TV show.

Invasion has not been released on any form of physical media and to be honest, I don't expect that this changes soon.

Season 3:

1. The Ones We Leave Behind
2. The Message
3. Infinitas
4. The Mission
5. Point of No Return
6. Marilyn
7. Outpost 17
8. Life in the Dead Zone
9. Homecoming
10. The End of the Line
