Eleventh Hour is an American science-based TV show, which is based on the UK show with the same name. It stars Rufus Sewell, Marley Shelton and Omar Benson Miller. To be honest, for a long time I wasn't sure if I rightfully could add this TV show on the website because it is unclear if this show if true science-based, or also has some science-fiction elements, especially in the time it has been created. I always felt however that Eleventh Hour is the science-based cousin of Fringe, while Fringe is unquestionably science fiction.

I always felt these two shows were connected for some reason, but indeed, Fringe became a whole other ballgame with its subsequent seasons. So, after a lot of deliberation, I decided to add Eleventh Hour with a show that does have science-fiction elements, because there is human cloning, experimental enhancement of human abilities and seemingly impossible medical or scientific mysteries, which can initially appear almost supernatural or futuristic.

I really enjoyed the pairing between Rufus Sewell and Marley Shelton's characters, again, as I say often, a bit as Mulder and Scully of the X-files.

The one and only season consists of 18 episodes in total, it aired on the CBS network but of course, because of declining ratings, the show was cancelled. It was unable to hold on to the viewership of the CSI audience lead-in, which was in its tenth season or something.
