For a long while now I was looking to buy the 1995 version of The Outer Limits on DVD. Unlike the original series, I don not think this will ever gets a Blu-ray which is unfortunate. Furthermore, as a complete series, this show still is available, both the German release and the Australian release, but I must say, it is very pricy. Still, I knew that if I would wait too long, at some point these releases would no longer be available. The Australian release is currently more expensive, plus, because I am a prime member of Amazon Germany, I did not need to pay shipping cost and it arrived within a day.
The set itself is a bit crappy, the same boxset as the most recent Star Trek: Voyager complete series release. I was fortunate the set came without any damage, a set like this gets easily damaged in transport. Two big boxes, seasons 1-4 and 5-7, discs are stacked unfortunately but that does not mean I am not happy with the set and there are some more things I am happy with.
It does have an English and German audio track, there is an inner print of both boxes, on the outside you'll find all the episodes but also on the discs the episodes are printed. This is a very big plus!

The discs look nice, every season has it's own color, as said, on each disc you'll find the episode titles, but they are in German. But still, it is easy to look for the last episode you've watched. Regarding the subtitles, on the first season there are many subtitles, including English, however, on season 2 to 7 there are no English subtitles, that is unfortunate. I did a quick check, I did not find any subtitles on the other seasons. If there are subs, it will only be German. The menu of season one does look considerably different from the rest of the series, as if this is from another release or something. On the back cover, see picture below, you'll find the special features, not a lot but more than I expected beforehand.

Final Word:
I am really happy that finally I convinced myself to purchase this set, seven seasons to plough through, really looking forward to it. A real shame though that there are no English subtitles from season two onwards. It has been so long since I last saw this, I am certain I have not seen every episode, not sure how much I saw of this but with my memory, it won't be an issue anyway. And yes, it is a German set, everything is in German, I too would rather want to have it in English, but I am happy I am at least able to watch it and there is an English audio track which is the most important thing.
